Welcome to 829 Front Street Unit K in Historic Georgetown, South Carolina. We offer you the opportunity to stay at a location that gives both an unobstructed view of the Sampit River and direct access to the boardwalk which, in turn, gives access to all of the waterfront eateries, stores, museums, and galleries downtown has to offer. Our waterfront unit has 2 bedrooms and a single full bathroom. There is another bathroom in the downstairs common area of the building, adjacent to this unit, if needed. The living room lets out onto the back deck and waterfront. There is also a full kitchen in case you feel like preparing some meals yourself. One bedroom offers a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed. Each bedroom has a charging station on the nightstands and lamps for your convenience.
We are located between Charleston and Myrtle Beach so there is impressive things to do in every direction. There are numerous boat launches near our building for water activities. In Georgetown, we have 5 rivers merging together and in the center of it all is Winyah Bay. Right outside our back door you'll find the Intercoastal Waterway as well as countless other waterways, creeks, tributaries and estuaries. Fresh water in one direction and salt in the other! And of course, it all leads to the Atlantic Ocean. Which brings me to our beaches. Believe me, they are second to none. Pawleys Island beaches are just North of us roughly 15 mins. away. Pawleys Island is another absolute gem! If you've never heard of it, do yourself a favor and spend the day there as well. We all adore our little Pawleys Island beach town and affectionately describe it as being arrogantly shabby.
Some of our local activities include:
Golf, history tours, boat tours to shell hunt, waterfront plantation tours, guided inshore and offshore fishing, beach combing, watersports of all kinds, hunting and exploring local wildlife.
Some of our local attractions include:
-Murrells Inlet - Seafood capital of SC and the Marshwalk lined with Eateries and entertainment venues.
-Brookgreen Gardens - Hundreds of sculptures surrounded by charming landscapes.
-Francis Marion National Forest - many outdoor activities like camping, hunting, cycling and hiking.
-Pawleys Island - Visit stores, eateries and beaches.
-Huntington Beach State Park - Picnic, hiking, cycling, camping, bird/alligator watching and visiting the Nature Center.
-McClellanville - Historic fishing village with tons of southern appeal.

Our top Vacation rental booking tips:
Finding your perfect vacation home:
- In the Georgetown, SC area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Summer months are high season in the Georgetown, SC area. To get the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Georgetown, SC restaurants and activities.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Begin by selecting trip dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Waterfront and boardwalk 2-bedroom, 1- bath apartment in Historic Georgetown, SC has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Georgetown, SC rentals search.

More considerations for your visit:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the property to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
